We are Private Detectives of Molecules, also called Theoretical and Computational Chemists, oriented to explain electronic structure and reactivity in Organic, Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry. Our offices are located at the Department of Chemistry (Division of Natural and Exact Sciences) in University of Guanajuato, campus Guanajuato.

 

We love using Computational Chemistry for analyzing chemical systems either for 1) explain/support some hypothesis of our experimental colleagues in their experiments or 2) because of the power of predictability of theoretical and computational chemistry for exploring new reactions before doing experiments. We believe this interaction between theory, computation and experimentation is the most powerful method for optimizing work, saving time and increasing productivity in Chemistry.
